Closer to God
There were numerous singles and a remix EP that accompanied The Downward Spiral. They all had fantastic cover art. The photo of the millipede on the Closer to God / Further Away two disc grosses me out in a good way.
If you’ve ever been close to a millipede, you’ve got to wonder what the hell is with that smell. It’s this vaguely metallic, sticky smell. Growing up in El Paso we had all types of creepy bugs, millipedes, centipedes, black widows, scorpions. Nothing compares to the creepy stag beetles I saw in Japan, though.
