The Downward Spiral
People are crazy awesome. Sometimes I ride the subway and think, “well, I could see why God does it.” Imagine a perfect place. These are inevitably boring ideas. The real interesting stuff is going on right here and now.
Heaven is the feeling of God’s grace. It’s not someplace you can get to because you died. You’re either in heaven right now or living in the dark shadow of absence that not having God in your life leaves.
Fortunately, I don’t think you need to believe in gods to feel at one with the world.
