Happiness In Slavery (Remixed By T. Reznor And Chris Vrenna W/P.K.)
The award for version of a song that sounds nothing like the original goes to this track.
The I still like the album art for Fixed & Broken they really feel like two parts of a whole and look great right next to each other. Fixed had just one fold: the over over the disc. Broken was packaged really nicely with three folds over the disc. Each fold had some bit of the lyrics or liner notes.
In 2001 when iTunes first came out with “Rip, Mix, Burn” I bothered to actually scan my original CDs when I ripped my discs. To this day I still have the same scanned images of my worn discs as the album art.
Drum break-down! BOOM-dadada-boomboom. BOOM-dadada-boomboom. There’s a weird percussive wood sound that gets a lot of play in this version. There’s so much going on in any given NIN song its hard to pick what any given sound is.
